Reindex single messages to test your updated Search Fields, and not have to process all messages until your done.
Bug fixes
A problem in 4.4.0.22 set the size to null in some cases, so even if there was a body you could no longer see/download it. Reindex of messages solve this and set correct size again if you have run 4.4.0.22.
